trust the media - we're great people
There's nothing that inspires greater confidence than hearing the producer of your news show say:
"I hate Indians. Of course I do. But I'll tell you something - I never hated them before I moved here."
Pictures at eleven.

Would it be a violation of a confidentiality agreement with your employer to broadcast this asshole's name to the whole world? How about his home address?

I already dished him up some home-cooked vitriol. I think that'll do for now.

Racism is a funny thing. My cousin for instance (and a good chunk of that side of the family) has always been famously racist towards native people. I remember having a conversation with my brother about him where I jokingly said 'he'll marry the first girl who comes along'. About a week later I found out that he was getting married to a native girl. I hadn't met her, but I was assured by his family that 'I don't have to worry, she's one of the good ones.' It would just be weird having your wife referred to by your parents as 'one of the good ones'.

Yes, exactly. This guy's not a monster. He has a lot of intersting things to say. So disappointing to hear that kind of ignorance from him.

Right. I'm not a very confrontational person, so it surprised me to hear the rather peevish retort issue from my mouth, in the presence of my boss and co-workers. It just never stops pissing me off.
